Default My g/f offered to pay off my entire student loan?

It's around £10,000 from the LEA and around £4,000 in overdrafts and credit cards. I'm not working as my g/f doesn't want me to. I really like being around her; she's foreign, 12 years older and not short of money, but taking money from her to pay off loans will just make dependent for life on her. I don't want to live my life that way, especially not with someone who I have very little in common with except for our love of sex. If she pays it off then she will have a form of control over me - do you agree? I just need someone to straighten this out for me so i can figure out what to do. In theory it sounds very nice...

I would let her pay a portion of it like that $4000 dollars overdraft. If she doesn't want you to work that mean that she should pay your debt in my opinion. just make sure that you have it written down that it was a gift and not a loan.
