The best thing to do is to find out from a advisory company that can look at all the options for him/her so that they can be given all the possible options available debt management is one option there’s also Bankruptcy, IVA, Debt Relief Order there are lots of companies out there. bankruptcy.co.uk can provide all the options if you ring them for free advice it might be that DM isn’t the right choice. http://www.bankruptcy.co.uk

As Steve said Debt Managment might not be the right option if your friend is still currently unemployed and receiving little/no income.

If you would like to contact me and explain your friends situation in more detail then i will be happy to point you and your friend in the right direction. My contact details are below.

Regards,

FAM

Hi there,
its sad there are so many people struggling, i myself have taken on a second job just to get by. There is help out there with many solutions offering free referrals. My advice would be to get as much information as you can on the company you choose to use, look though the internet and do your research. I actually work on this website - Debt Advice Forum, this site is a subsidary of Source The Market and they are a national financial service covering all topics and are able to provide you with free impartial advice. If you contact paul@sourcethemarket.com I will ensure you will receive the support you need and I am sure that the information you require will be offered.

I hope this helps.
Good Luck
