Default Is making myself bankrupt an option?

I have been struggling with debts for a few years, but it has got to the point that I am paying so much interest and only really able to pay the minium, that I am getting nowhere with my debts at all.

I have tried calling consolodation companies, they won't touch me with a barge pole. I have contacted my creditors, they are not interested as I am the prefect customer, paying the minimum and paying masses of interest.

I tried to get a hold of things a year ago, moved home with my parents, to save some money and help them also (both in ill health) but this has not made much improvemnet at all.

I am now desperate to move out and wondered if I did this, it would put me on the road to bankruptcy, which to be honest I don't mind at moment, as my outgoings are so high. I can't look into that now as living at home again, I pay the minimum for rent, so any company I contact, they see I have funds left each month (this goes on debts) I am normally broke by the end of the first week of the month.

I owe the following
HFC 986 total - pay each month 70
FIRST DIRECT 2905 total - pay each month 50
ADDITIONS 1108 total - pay each month 50
MINT 397 total - pay each month 20
CAPITAL ONE 197 total - pay each month 50
MBNA 8178 total - pay each month 354
CAHOOT 9003 total - pay each month 300

I have travel at 280, phone, internet, food, and everything else in between.

If I rented, i owuld be left with next to nothing, but could declared bankrupt. Is this an option?

Any advice, guidance or more info I need to give to get some helpful advic ewould be great

Thanks

I highly recommend that you don't declare yourself bankrupt as this will affect your entire life - it will affect your credit rating and you wanting any credit in the future. Maybe go and see a debt advisor where they will be able to look into your situation and what would be the solution for you to resolve this.
