Default In need of guidance and help :(

Between me and the wife:

our credit rating bad

accounts blocked by banks due to going over OD more than once, about £3500 worth of OD

few payday loans outstanding, keep rolling but need to get paid off NOW as not helping

been asked to attend a hearing as not paid council tax, this could be dealt with but again a lot of money

have tried bad credit loans but either dont quality for the FTV (i think it is) or interest rates a joke or just wont touch us.

we both have a debt management co. dealing with creditors which is going fine but have found ourself in a position now where we will struggle to pay them. fallen behind on a couple of finance payments with the co. threatening to take vehicle off us if we dont pay £700 but friday, again we can cover but,...

on verge of missing 2nd mortgage payment and bank already making threats about that.

a quick brain scan suggests about £7-8k will sort all the above amount in one swoop with maybe a few quid left over.

banks wont touch us.

only thing i can think of is if a relative or friend got a loan for us paid it to us and we pay them the monthlys, this is really our only option but have relied too much on these in the past and not fair someone else deals with our mess

seriously at rock botton

is there a company anyone can recommened that could help us? i wouldnt have a problem paying say 5k interest on a 10k loan or something, just desparately need the money.

thanks

Hi rich, pls give the consumer credit counselling service a call on 0800 138 1111, they are a free debt help charity who will get everything in order for you.

You must not get into more debt to pay debt. With regard to your creditors, write to them and tell them you want all contact to be via post only. Not telephone.

Everyone is having problems at the moment but remember no one is going to harm you for being in debt. All any court in the land would want to see is that you did not ignore your debts and that you sought help and acted on the guidance given.

Call consumer credit counselling service rich, you will feel much better afterwards.

I feel for you buddy, but help is here now.

There are plenty of companies that can help but before you commit to any you shoudl definitely consider looking around. My friend used a debt company that helped sort out a repayment program that allowed her to consolidate her debt. She's in a much better solution now.
