Do you have credit cards? If so, try consolidating your debt with a balance transfer credit card. You can transfer the balance of all your credit cards onto one new credit card that offers a low interest rate for balance transfers.

There are lot of credit cards around these days that offer this, along with a low purchase rate. So your overall costs will go down as well as the money you pay in annual fees because you will only be using one credit card.

It is also important that when you choose a credit card that you get the best credit card for you - one that suits your financial situation, so choose wisely!

And don't forget to cancel your other credit cards too!

Try going to your citizens advice bureau or even speaking to a debt advisor where they will be able to devise a repayment method or maybe consolidate your debts. They are honest and will not mess you about as they sympathise with you. It was the best decision that I made.
