The debt doesn't affect you as far as I am aware, especially if it's student debt because it doesn't start coming due until she graduates or stops being full time student. It is a problem if she's delinquent on her payments.

School is tough and the debt is worth it. The key often in this kind of situation is for her to be willing to work to help pay off the debt. Student debt isn't the end of the world and most creditors will be willing to work with you if other aspects of your financial lives are in order.

It'll work out. Just have her help pay off those loans (return on investment) and things will be okay. Good luck!

no this should not have an affect on you but to make sure go and seek advice from your citizens advice and see where they guide you - your best bet would be to go and speak to someone who specialises in this field.
