Default should a budgeting loan from the social fund take up to 10 weeks to sort out??

sorry guys but what has HAPPENED to the DSS or whatever they call themselves these days.....10 weeks 2 lost forms are they taking the piss or what
for those who think im a scrounger well your mistaken im on the sick & get DLA!!
also did hand it in personally to go in the internal mail , thats the form they lost!!

they do this to stall things - in the hope that you forget. Is it a loan to balance out your finances or to get important household items? if its for items go for a Community Care Grant - you don't pay it back, if its for a cooker, bed, heater, you should get it but they will want a story of why you need it and how much, - ask for more than you need because the half it and tell them how its affecting your life etc (real sob story)

No it shouldnt take that long however with the swathe of job cuts instigated by Gordon brown in the 2005 budget, it is inevitable that service is going to suffer and ultimatly the poorest people in Britain is going to suffer.

Write to your MP demanding an end to the cuts and support your local PCS trade union branch next time they go out on strike
