Well, ive been trying to figure some things out about ISAs myself- one thing i do know already though is, you can invest a total of 7200. this can be 7200 in EITHER a cash ISA or a stocks and shares ISA- or you can put 3600 in both and have a mix. so, i guess the answer to your question is 3600- (even if you only invest 1800 in your cash ISA, the limit for stocks & shares ISA remains 3600) I personally have seen a better return on stocks and shares ISA (the profit or loss can be monitered (online) than my last years interest on my cash ISA....)hope this helps.........
