If you are going to shop on line for goods or services your Credit card/Debit card could be subject to someone stealing your ID and your cash, if you can prove that it was not you who made these transaction you will be covered buy your card supplier but could take some time, I have found that every time I use Pay-Pal it notifies me and ask if this transaction has been made by me and then you have to approve it or not which ever the case may be, so it is a very good way to protect yourself.

many of the better credit card companies and banks have safeguards in place against online fraud and you will not be responsible for charges you do not make.
