Talking Round and Round We Go

Many a times we find that we all go for credit because our wages are just not enough to sustain us to the end of the month. With the likes of Wonga and Quick Quid around, one is quick to grab what they can get to get us through the month.
It's a hard nut life.. Why is this happening? Why is it that consumer debt levels are now well over £1.3 Trillion Pounds Sterling which is more than our total GDP(Gross Domestic Product).

I read a debate on another forum, the argument was about whether financial education should be taught in schools. It was a huge debate but i made my decision.

I think that financial education should be taught in schools to build a good foundation but more importantly we as adults must strive at all costs to educate ourselves financially so at least we are well informed and know how to budget and manage our finances.

So my question to you all is;

Look at yourself as a family or an individual, do you feel the urge to take on credit every month?

Is your family monthly budget sufficient for the full month?

Your comments are really appreciated.
